Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS)

Denying the airspace: detect, track, identify and neutralise hostile small unmanned aircraft before they reach your assets.

In an era where commercial drones are used for hostile reconnaissance and attack, controlling your airspace is as critical as securing your perimeter.

Obsidian’s C-UAS program provides a comprehensive defence against hostile small unmanned aircraft systems. The course blends electronic-warfare theory with practical interdiction technique, training security teams to detect, track, identify and neutralise aerial threats before they compromise the asset.

Coverage

  • Detection and tracking: radio-frequency sensing, radar and optical confirmation.
  • Identification: separating a hostile platform from the hobbyist, the surveyor and your own aircraft.
  • Interdiction: signal denial, protocol manipulation and physical capture options.
  • Legal framing: what a site operator may and may not do in the airspace above their own ground.

Interdiction technique is taught within the legal framework of the operating jurisdiction; the objective is a defensible response, not merely an effective one.
